THE BEAUTIFUL CITY OF DUBAI SET TO BUILD A SHAPE-SHIFTING SKYSCRAPER BY 2020

Dubai will be a home for the world’s first shape-shifting skyscraper. It sounds sci-fi right?

Dubai is well known for its unique, modern, studded with spectacular architectures. Now, the newest offering to the city’s skyline may be the most great and impressive and project ever embarked on in the glittering city. The Dynamic Tower will stand an extraordinary eighty stories high and will be the world’s very first skyscraper made up of separate rotating floors which will be attached to one central column, hence this will allow the people who live there to control the exact position of their luxury apartments to suit their needs.

That building is also spectacular for other reasons. The developers, from the Dynamic Group, claim that it will produce its own environmental friendly power. The skyscraper will be powered by seventy-nine wind turbines and solar panels which will cover the roof of the skyscraper and the rooves of every single level. Also the developers plan that the skyscraper will be the world’s first prefabricated tower. According to the architect, David Fisher, who designed the plans for the building back in 2008, around 90% of the tower will be constructed in a factory and then transported to the construction site.

It is estimated that its construction will cost around $1.2 billion.
